At Rise Endurance we take a holistic, athlete-centered approach to nutrition coaching. We take the whole athlete into account by factoring in your life, health, fitness, workout schedule, and training periodization.

Nutrition is more than just “calories in, calories out”. What you eat affects how you perform in your sport as well as your long-term health.

With the expert guidance of an Exercise Physiologist, we help you navigate through your daily and sport nutrition so that both your health and sports performance improve. Coach Joan is also a Certified Level I Metabolic Efficiency Training Specialist and can guide you through your daily nutrition, training nutrition, and exercise to become more metabolically efficient.

In you daily life, this means you can improve your health and maintain a more balanced blood sugar. In sports, it means you can periodize your nutrition based on your training and you won’t have to rely on consuming so many gels during a race. 

You can become more efficient at utlizing carbohyrates and fats. In other words, you can teach your body to burn more fat without relying so heavily on sugars and carbs. And now you have the help you need in Metabolic Efficiency Training™ to get you there.

How It Works:

We start with a free consultation to discuss what your goals are and what you’re looking for in nutrition coaching.

At the start of nutrition coaching, you’ll complete the initial forms which includes a food log and questionnaires on your health, nutrition, athletic history, and fitness. We then evaluate your information and schedule your first call.

The Nutrition Program is a four week program that includes one phone call per week (up to 45 minutes) plus email support. Throughout the four weeks, we’ll help you identify challenges, discuss potential modifications, and help you make adjustments based on your workouts and training periodization.

Nutrition Maintenance is a one time coaching call, either 30 minutes or 1 hour in length, that’s best suited for those who have questions and want to review their daily and sports nutrition.
