For many athletes, racing is more than just chasing a PR or crossing the line. It’s an opportunity to make a difference. Some of the runners in our community are running for charity, using their races to raise money and awareness for causes that matter.

They are taking their training and turning it into something bigger by running for charity. As they prepare for their upcoming race, they’re also raising money for causes that are important to them. Below are the athletes who are racing for a cause this season. If you’re able, consider supporting their fundraising efforts or sharing their pages to help them reach their goals.

Why Athletes Choose to Run for Charity

Running is often a personal sport, and many athletes choose to connect their races to causes that matter to them. Some run to honor loved ones. Others want to support medical research, community programs, or organizations that have made a difference in people’s lives.

Whatever the motivation, runners are using their training and race day efforts to create a positive impact far beyond the finish line. Every mile becomes an opportunity to make a difference.

How You Can Help

Training for a race takes dedication, time, and commitment. Adding a fundraising goal on top of that makes the journey even more meaningful and more challenging.

If you’d like to support these runners:

  • Donate to one or more fundraising pages
  • Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program
  • Share their fundraising pages or this page with family and friends
  • Encourage them as they continue their training

Every contribution, whether it’s large or small, helps move their cause forward and is greatly appreciated.
